ProtectTrade Strategies
Problem
When buying a coin, it's important to have a clear exit strategy. Without setting sell orders or stop losses, it can be stressful and risky. Failing to manage trades properly can lead to significant losses, hindering the ability to make future investments. If keeping track of everything becomes too burdensome, it may deter you from making any purchases at all.
Why This Happens
Laziness: Reluctance to engage in the process.
Inconvenience: Breaking orders into parts, calculating percentages, entering them into a bot is cumbersome. You need to create a spreadsheet, calculate the price for ROI, and adjust stop losses.
Speed: Inability to react quickly on dynamic coins.
Fear: Worrying that incorrect stop-loss placement will cause you to miss out.
Greed: Greed in setting sell levels and the size of sales.
Lack of Plan: Absence of a clear action plan.
Discipline: Inability to adhere to a trading strategy.
Emotions: Emotional decision-making.
Time: Lack of time to monitor trades and charts.
Distractions: Getting distracted and forgetting to manage trades.

Example Strategy Workflow
Purchase: Buy 100 coins at $1 each, total investment $100.
Select Strategy: Choose "Careful Chris" strategy.
Initial Setup:
Set initial stop-loss (SL0) at -10%. If the price drops 10%, the position closes.
Price Increases:
At +20% (price = $1.20), SL1 moves to -5% and 20% of the coins are sold.
Gain $24 from this sale, leaving 80 coins.
If the price drops to $0.95, the remaining 80 coins sell for $76, breaking even with $24 already gained.
Further Increases:
At +30%, SL2 moves to 0% ROI.
At +40%, TP2 triggers, selling another 20 coins.
At +60%, TP3 triggers, selling another 20 coins, with SL3 moving to +50% ROI.
Max Profit:
At +80%, SL4 triggers at +70% ROI. Last 20 coins remain.
If price falls to +50% ROI, remaining coins sell, gaining $30 more.
Total profit: $120 from TPs + $30 from final sale = $150.
Comparison with No Strategy
Purchase: Buy 100 coins at $1 each, total investment $100.
Goal: Sell all at +100% ROI. No stop-loss.
Price Movement:
Price reaches +80% then drops to -30%.
Trader buys additional $30 worth of coins.
Price drops to -50% total ROI. Trader sells in panic.
Losses: (100+30) * 0.5 = -$65.
Instead of a potential $50 profit, a loss of $65 occurs.
